When the door is properly closed, the key can be turned,
extending the lock bolt into the latch block. After
the lock bolt is completely extended, the key may
be removed from the interlock.
The
interlock housing and latch block are made from brass.
The key, lock bolt and all internal parts are constructed
from 316 stainless steel. The lock bolt is 5/8"
diameter and the throw, or travel, of the locking
bolt is ¾".
