KIRK^® key interlocks operate on the principle that the key can be removed only when the locking bolt is in a predetermined position.

The locks used in all KIRK^® key interlock systems are seven-pin tumbler locks, featuring a proprietary key way. All interlock housings are manufactured of brass, bronze, or aluminum.

Our interlocks mount directly on your standard equipment. Choose the mounting option that best fits your application. Adapter plates and locking bolt modifications are available. Contact us if you feel you have a non-standard mounting situation or if you need the locking bolt modified in any way (e.g. tap a hole in the end of the locking bolt so a fixture can be attached).
