PRODUCTS - TYPE K SWITCH

trapped key interlocks

Perfectly suited for applications requiring temporary off-load isolation, the Power Panel Switch (PPS) is a key actuated, rotary, two-position switch designed for isolation or switching of control circuitry. It is available with switch ratings of 20, 25, 40 or 63A. The switch is UL Listed and CSA Approved. The PPS is designed so that rotation of the key to either the trapped or to the released position will cause the switch contacts to change state.

The PPS interlock is available in our SD or HD product series. For further information on each of these click on the images below.

PRODUCTS - THERMOPLASTIC BODIED SWITCH (CE MARKED)

The Thermoplastic Bodied Switch adds functionality to a number of KIRK® interlocks while providing protection against water damage. Selecting this additional feature permits remote indication of the lock bolt position and/or the ability to switch control circuitry; the contacts respond directly to the movement of the locking bolt, changing state when the key is turned and the locking bolt is extended.

Thermoplastic bodied electrical contacts offer the best protection against water damage.

These auxiliary contacts are available for four styles of bolt interlocks and two styles of access interlocks, in  our two KIRK® product series: SD or HD. For further information on each of these click on the images below.
